As its name states, the National
Great Rivers Research and Education Center focuses on both research
and education.
NGRREC relies on a full-time educator
to develop research-based environmental education programs for
kindergarten through high school students and teachers.
NGRREC’s comprehensive environmental
education program also delivers community workshops on topics such as
the economics of river communities and river resources.
