Dr. Banziger supports the work of NGRREC through his position as Academic Affairs Liaison at Lewis and Clark Community College (LCCC). In this role, he has oversight responsibility for the LCCC science faculty who participate in NGRREC activities. Dr. Banziger has been a chief academic officer at two other institutions of higher education. In his capacity as director of grants at LCCC, he has worked extensively on science-education and environmental-education projects. He serves on the NGRREC Advisory Board and assists with NGRREC grant applications in environmental education.

A researcher and instructor on the issues of alternative dispute resolution, Dr. Banziger has led a session on conflict resolution in environmental issues for the NGRREC student internship program.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn., and master’s and doctorate degrees from Syracuse University.
